Journalism.co.uk is proud to announce live journalism platform ScribbleLive as the latest sponsor for news:rewired - beyond the story on 16 December.

ScribbleLive has signed up as a gold sponsor to the event for journalists and communications professionals who want to learn how to make their work more powerful online from industry experts. Networking drinks will also be provided after the day's discussions for thirsty delegates courtesy of the Toronto-based firm, which launched the platform in 2008.

There are some tickets still available for the December event for £100 (+VAT). Delegates will also have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive competition on the day to win prizes worth more than £1,000.

Michael De Monte, founder of ScribbleLive, will join a fantastic line-up of speakers, including journalists and technologists from the Guardian, the Times, the Financial Times, IPC and Microsoft. He will be speaking as part of the digital production desk session looking at the challenges of producing and maintaining an interactive and live website for users. During the day linked data, SEO for specialist publishers, branding and entrepreneurship, and gaming in journalism are all up for debate.

ScribbleLive has worked with high profile clients including Reuters, Microsoft and the Press Association, and is used as a live content management system that can be fully integrated with a news organisation or publisher's own website, its branding and revenue streams.

"We are very pleased to support such an event as news:rewired. Live journalism has taken huge strides in 2010. We look forward to discussing these with the other attendees and looking forward to an even more exciting 2011," said De Monte.

ScribbleLive joins a roster of pioneering companies that have sponsored news:rewired events past and present. The beyond the story conference on 16 December is also supported by Video News Agency (VNA), a service for journalists, broadcasters and web editors looking for archived and exclusive video and film footage. Journalists can sign up for free at this link.
