The Association of Online Publishers today launched its tenth annual Digital Publishing Awards, with the introduction of two new entries.

This year's awards include two new categories: Product Team, open to product development and product management teams within a publishing operation; and Ad Operations Team, open to publishers, agencies and advertising networks in the UK who sell or buy online display advertising media.

For the first time, the awards will also feature a Grand Prix prize, awarded additionally by the judges to one of the winners from the 19 categories on the night.

Entries can be made until 11 March and the awards will take place on 9 June at the Roundhouse in Camden, London.

"The new categories for Product Team and Ad Ops Team are indicative of the importance of, and recognition of the key skills, these teams bring to the industry and to our members’ businesses," Tim Faircliff, AOP chairman and general manager of consumer media at Thomson Reuters said in a release.

"The Innovation category is a chance to acknowledge the new, imaginative and original use of media or technology."
