The BBC is cranking up coverage of the Glastonbury music festival with extra interactive TV, online and mobile services.

The digital TV coverage will allow music fans to watch the festival interactively from 10pm each evening, including coverage from a new tent for up-and-coming bands and the Radio 1 dance stage.

The BBC has also announced that producers and presenters will be able to use MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) for the first time. This will enable them to take and send pictures on a mobile phone which will be published instantly on the BBC website.

The Glastonbury Festival runs from 25 to 27 June.
