Email reunites toddler

Eighteen-month-old tsunami victim Hannes Bergstrom has been reunited with his father thanks to the internet, although his mother is still missing.

The Swedish toddler was found alone on a roadside and was taken to Phuket International Hospital, where staff posted the child's picture online. Hannes was reunited with his father after his uncle recognised the child's photo on the internet. The child's mother remains missing.

A 10-year-old German girl called Sophia Michl is also at Phuket Hospital. Staff are trying to track down her parents, Norbert and Edeltraud Michl.
