MSN HQ, London, where today's news:rewired event is taking place


Journalism.co.uk's news:rewired - connected journalism conference is taking place at MSN, London today (Thursday, 6 October).

The fifth news:rewired conference will look at the emergence of new digital roles and latest opportunities for collaboration in the newsroom, and how reporters can work with the wider community to improve, fund and find the journalism of the future.

More than 180 journalists and industry professionals will at the event, hearing from key people in the industry including Charlie Beckett, founding director of POLIS; Carla Buzasi, editor-in-chief at Huffington Post UK; Paul Lewis, special projects editor, the Guardian; Steve Hermann, editor, BBC News Online; and Xavier Damman, co-founder of Storify.

We’ve teamed up with Wannabe Hacks who will be liveblogging each session on the news:rewired site, plus we will be posting key lessons from the day, photos and videos filmed by the BBC College of Journalism. All of our coverage will be on the news:rewired site and you will be able read blog posts from those attending by searching for #newsrw.
