Premium TV, Europe's largest digital sports publisher, will design, build and manage the FourFourTwo site which will feature up-to-the-minute news produced by an in-house editorial team.
"It will not be a mirror of the magazine but will contain some of the interviews and features from the previous month, so as not to cannibalise offline sales," said Martyn Jones, publisher of FourFourTwo.
"We will also sell subscriptions to the magazine, create new revenue strands, store archive magazine content and to promote the next issue."
FourFourTwo's print magazine has a monthly circulation of around 104,000. Premium TV runs many of the UK's official football club sites and more than 1.5 million users have registered for its broadband, narrowband and mobile sports news services.
