Web publishers can now use Google's web analytics service for free, the search giant announced this week.Google Analytics allows publishers to monitor the effectiveness of email campaigns, keyword marketing and page design.
Being able to accurately assess the effectiveness of different marketing techniques will enable publishers to better understand how to make better marketing decisions, claims Google.
The system is integrated with Google's AdWords advertising programme so that users can access data on the traffic and cost effectiveness of their own keyword campaigns. Other online campaigns such as banner adverts, email newsletters and paid search can also be monitored.
