Bill Swanson, general manager of Independent's new ventures division, told Brand Republic the site would 'relaunch before Christmas.'
However, he remained tight-lipped on what users could expect from the new Independent.co.uk and whether the Indy would join the UK's other leading national newspaper websites in reporting Audit Bureau of Circulation Electronic monthly unique user and page impression figures.
The Independent has steadfastly refused to make its ABCE traffic figures public, even though it has been receiving the metric data since earlier this year.
