'Germany - Land of ideas' offers more than 1,000 reports, portraits, research contacts and images on Germany, as well as 30 other countries related to the World Cup.
The site is available in English, German and Spanish. Journalists need to register to use the site but the content is free, including text reports, royalty-free images and TV footage.
"We want to offer journalists the perfect service for their reports on Germany and its people," said Mike de Vries, chief executive of FC Deutschland.
"In the year of the World Cup, each journalist will be seeking good stories on their fellow countrymen in Germany and on the World Cup venues - and they will find them with us."
