Entrants can now make submissions within 'Digital Commercial Individual', 'Digital Editorial Individual' and 'Specialist Publisher' categories.
"In one of the most difficult economic years for businesses, it's even more important to reward and recognise those businesses that manage to innovate in the publishing sector; we also have expanded the awards to respect the creative talent of individuals in the business," Alison Reay, AOP chairman and digital and multimedia director, said in a release.
The 2009 awards nominations for all 17 categories will be open from the end of February until late March.
The ceremony will be held on June 2 2009, at Old Billingsgate. More information about nominations, voting and the awards can be found on the AOP website at this link.
