The national newspaper report from the ABC suggest that popular Sunday titles the Daily Star Sunday, the News of the World, the Sunday Mail, the People and the Sunday Mirror all increased circulation by an average of 2.08 per cent from June.
There were less positive figures recorded for the quality Sunday publications audited, with this group posting a month-on-month decrease in circulation of 1.83 per cent on average for July.
All the Sunday papers listed continued to see negative growth year-on-year (-11.49 per cent) for the period of February to July 2010, with the Observer being the hardest hit with a drop of 20.34 per cent.
Average monthly circulation figures for July show an overall increase of 0.81 per cent for morning daily papers as a whole compared with June.
