Reuters launched its online coverage of the Olympics coverage today, using a team of 200 journalists working from 37 competition venues in Athens.

The site will provide round-the-clock news and photography as well as schedules and results for the Athens Games, which run from the 13 to 19 of August. Visitors can also read background features on athletes, the host city and previous Olympics.

Reuters.co.uk claims to be the largest multimedia news site, with 2,400 journalists reporting from 200 bureaux around the world.
