Tim Faircliff leaves Telegraph for Reuters
Reuters has announced another key appointment as part of its push into the consumer news market.Tim Faircliff will be general manager for consumer news at Reuters.co.uk, overseeing multimedia services for the internet, interactive TV and mobiles. His new role will involve product development, third party content deals and sales and marketing.
Mr Faircliff has worked for Telegraph.co.uk for seven years, most recently as general manager. He is also a board member of the Association of Online Publishers (AOP) and the IDM/IAB Digital Marketing Council.
Last week, Reuters appointed Dean Wright as managing editor for consumer news and in January Astrid Zweynert was made UK online editor.
Reuters aims to build audiences by providing new digital services for financial investments, business information and news.
