More Hello on the go
Celebrity news and entertainment site hellomagazine.com is introducing a new WAP service, allowing users to view web content on their mobile phones. For £3 per month, users can access eight news stories and photos every week day. Subscribers sign up by texting GO HELLOMAG to 85080, and are then sent a link to browse headlines.
"People don't want to miss the latest titbits just because they're on the go, so a WAP site is the perfect solution," said Tree Elven, web editor of Hellomagazine.com.
Hellomagazine.com already offers services for mobiles in SMS and Java formats. WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is a simple website designed to be viewed on mobile phones.
