Museums award calls for student journalists
Now in its fourth year, the annual prize asks full or part-time journalism students or graduates to write a review or feature about an event during this year's MGM, which runs throughout May.
"At the 24 Hour Museum we rely on talented student journalists who are interested in arts writing to get out to museums and galleries all over the country and keep us up to date with the latest goings on," said Jon Pratty, editor of the 24 Hour Museum.
The winner receives £250 and two runners-up will receive £50. Entries can be on any MGM event and winning articles will be published on the 24 Hour Museum.
Students can enter through the 24 Hour Museum site or suggest story ideas to Jon Pratty. The closing date is 5 June 2006.
