The SunSun Online broke a video exclusive of a sting on a Home Officer worker allegedly offering to help bogus asylum seekers enter Britain.

The print edition this morning reported that senior Home Office worker Joseph Dzumbira, 35, bragged to an undercover reporter that he could get anyone refugee status for a fee of up to £2,000.

The article stated that Dzumbira claimed his biggest scam was to pretend people were Zimbabwean, knowing that the British Government would not deport people back to a perilous life under President Mugabe.

In the online video exclusive the Home Officer worker appears to say that checks on people claiming to be Zimbabwean are not carried out.

Dzumbira can also be heard telling the Sun's man that he charges a minimum of £800 and that he 'always tries to charge a reasonable fee' for what he is doing 'because money is tight' and that he 'believes in delivering results'.

The newspaper splash claimed Dzumbira boasted that by providing fake documents and coaching on how to cheat the system he had helped 200 bogus asylum seekers enter Britain.

The online edition then followed up the story by exclusively publishing the video heaping more pressure on the Home Office, which immediately called for an internal investigation.

Marc Webber, assistant news editor Sun Online, said: "This is a great multi-media tool, why would we not put it online.

"We have some reporters here that want to do this sort of reporting now, they realise this is the future.

"The video is now on Sky and BBC News. People realise the worth of visual material go with the words that ran in the paper."
