NatMags gets digital network
Nancy Cruickshank will become as managing director of the division whose properties include; cosmopolitan.co.uk; netdoctor.co.uk and the Handbag network.
Ms Cruickshank is the former managing director of Handbag, which was acquired by NatMags for a reported £22 million from the Barclay Brothers - owners of the Daily Telegraph - last week.
She said: "The Hearst Digital Network comprises of some hugely successful brands and websites, with an exceptionally strong team behind them, and I'm thrilled to be heading it all up. It's an exciting time for digital publishing and I'm looking forward to exploiting the opportunities for all of our online properties."
Duncan Edwards, chief executive of NatMags said: "The creation of the Hearst Digital Network underlines our focus on being a significant player in digital publishing. With all our websites housed in one division we have created an enviable team of some of the best digital publishing expertise in the industry.
"We already have an excellent portfolio of online properties, which can only grow stronger in this new environment."
