New to the home page is the Journalism.co.uk 'Best of the Rest' category - a news aggregator updated daily to gather news from across the web and throw even more stories about the latest developments in online journalism to the readership.
For the first time the site now also has a Comment home page gathering togther the views and opinions of the great and the good from the online media world.
The day's lead news story will now carry images and the key news and resource sub-sections - How to, Features, Comment and Smart Moves - have been promoted to the front page to make them easier to navigate.
Publisher John Thompson said: "Our new home page is designed to accommodate the new news channels we have introduced in recent months and to present our content in a more attractive and coherent way.
"In addition, we felt that news about online journalism has proliferated over the past year to the extent that we cannot possibly cover all angles.
"Hence the introduction of the news aggregator, which will allow us to provide a very comprehensive overview of the latest developments, while still maintaining our in-depth insights into the progress of the online publishing industry."
