US technology site Tom's Hardware launched a new version for the UK and Ireland today, under the leadership of new managing director Mohammad Mirazimi.Tom's Hardware Guide now publishes localised news, product reviews and features for 12 countries.
Technology journalist Aaron McKenna has been appointed managing editor of the UK and Ireland edition.
"We have all our bases covered with reviews and other articles from the US edition," said Mr McKenna.
"We intend to build on this in order to become not only the publication at the bleeding edge of the technology curve; but also the one that can notice the subtle nuances and differences in a region, which can make all the difference to readers."
