Sky News is the latest media outlet to jump on the podcasting bandwagon, with the launch of a news video podcasting service.

The podcasts can be download from the Sky News website and MP3s currently available include 7 Days, which takes a look at the week’s lighter stories, and a weekly report from Sky News' political editor, Adam Boulton.

Steve Bennedik, editor of Sky News Interactive, said: "The launch of Sky News video podcasting... is part of Sky’s drive to give customers flexible and convenient ways to watch its services. Now you can enjoy Sky News on your video iPod when and where you like."

How to download a Sky News video podcast:

1. Open iTunes on your computer.

2. Select 'Subscribe to Podcast' from the 'advanced' menu and type/paste in this link: http://skyscape.sky.com/skynewsradio/NEWS/sevendays1.xml

3. The latest episode will download and then sync automatically with your video iPod next time it is connected.

4. Once it has downloaded you can also view it in iTunes.

Please note video will only play on the latest video iPod or multimedia player with a colour LCD screen.
