However this weekend, the accomplished sportsman will be giving guidance in a rather different surrounding.

Starting at 10am on Saturday 15th February at the P20 Sun Protection Experts Theatre, Andrew will be on stage, providing expert advice to an audience of new Swimmers and Triathletes alike. Visitors can expect to be enlightened, as the ASA qualified instructor will be passing on invaluable swimming techniques he's developed, which they can use to turn their swims from an out of breath feeling experience into a calm and adventurous competitive swim.

Andrew will be joined by several other industry experts and Pro Triathletes who will be attending throughout the day as event speakers.

This event is ideal for budding Swimmers and Triathletes who want to gain insight into the lives of the top level athletes past and present, as well as and pick up advice on training, nutrition, motivation and much more. It will surely be a day that is not to be missed!

The full timetable of the event will be announced soon, however readers can sign up to the mailing list or visit Facebook and Twitter for more information.

Olympic rowing Champion James Cracknell, will also be speaking on the Experts stage today (13th February) at 15:30.

About Andrew Turner

Andrew is a former Great Britain aquatic team member, having competed in both the Junior European and World Championships as a water polo player. Despite being in the U16 International Squad aged just 13, Andrew struggled immensely with his swimming and it was in his teenage years that he spent hours each day redeveloping his swimming. Training paid off and he reached his goals, but he later realised a lot of his battles could have been saved had he focused earlier on technique rather than endless chlorine filled lengths of the pool.

After graduating from Manchester University and working on an Investment Banking sales and trading graduate scheme he rekindled his real love, as a full-time swimming instructor. Andrew now runs Turner Swim at the five star Le Meridien hotel Piccadilly to helps others reach their goals through focusing on strong techniques.
