Isoperla today launched an app to automatically help identify bird song using your iPhone.
Bird Song Id brings a revolutionary new approach to bird song identification in a feature called Automatic Recognition. You simply record the bird singing and the app tells you what it is likely to be. The app can distinguish between 36 species of bird found in the British Isles, and works a little like Shazam.
The app is the first in the world to offer this feature on a consumer device.
In addition to Automatic Recognition, the app has a high quality audiovisual library of 133 species of bird.
