City Travel Review's creative projects see a group of budding writers, photographers and graphic designers put together a travel guide or magazine to some of Europe’s most inspiring cities. Our Edinburgh and Lyon-based travel writing programmes are aimed at candidates with a passion for writing and a hunger to go beyond the pall when it comes to discovering a city.

Project members spend at least three weeks sampling their destination’s history, culture and cuisine, while attending writing workshops and language classes to brush up on their French, German or Spanish language skills (not applicable for Edinburgh projects). The end result is a city guide that members can publish as an e-book and distribute online.
