The 41 year old Spencer Green, who is also the founder and chairman of GDS International, a privately owned business-to-business events and media company, has been practising for the London Marathon on a daily basis. But he has long goals and short legs:
"I'm training for the London Marathon. It's fair to say that I am not naturally built for long-distance running. I have two cracking legs. I love them, my wife loves them. Excellent legs they are. For rugby...That said, these legs are going to get me over the finish line in three hours and 45 minutes. That's the goal: 3.45 (and it's the name of my and my wife, Emily's fundraising efforts on behalf of The National Autistic Society)".
It was quite recently that he and wife Emily had launched the charitable project called 3.45 in aid of The National Autistic Society.
Spencer Green had his education at Clevedon and Millfield schools and studied law at Kings College, London. He worked as a member of The Rolling Stones' road crew and as a Sales Manager at Sterling Publications before launching his publishing firm, GDS, in 1993, which became a business-to-business events and media company in 1998. The company has grown in the past 17 years, and is now truly international with offices on three continents.
Well wishers and friends are confident that the London Marathon will be good to Spencer Green, GDS International, and 3.45.- Contact Name:
