Toolbox sponsors heat for the Birmingham Brummies Speedway Team

For several years the Toolbox team have been proactively sponsoring different types of events and teams as a means of advertising, but moreover as a means of supporting local folks that have a passion for a hobby or sport.

"The majority of sponsorships are aimed towards local teams and events as this promotes and nurtures the community which we’re all a part of” explains James Hickman, Managing Director. "Since we also employ a lot of local staff, it makes a lot of sense to try and give something back to the area when possible to do so. This allows us to support and be supported within the community."

In the last 2 years, Toolbox.co.uk has sponsored a local football team, Elmley FC - which has helped them fund kits and match transport. Now they’ve also sponsored a heat for the Birmingham Brummies speedway team along with other sponsors which can be seen on their heat sponsorship page.

The Birmingham Brummies speedway team was reformed back in 2006 and the year after were accepted straight into the Premier League and to the Elite League in 2011. The team currently race at Perry Barr Stadium in Birmingham – so for anyone who’s interested, pop along, they’re all extremely friendly!

General Manager, Lee Taylor added: "As I’m from Birmingham myself, sponsoring this event was quite a big deal to me as I’ve slowly made acquaintances there and I really thought it would back-up the already positive image of the company. We’re all for supporting local causes and this one was right up our street, especially as I and others in the business are huge fans of speedway."
