The British 10k is an annual running event that is held in the heart of London. 16 legal professionals from the Kent law firm will be taking part in the race to raise money for their charity of the year.

chYps were re-elected as Whitehead Monckton’s charity of the year after employees were asked to vote from a shortlist of charities. The children’s hospice based in Kent provide care to terminally ill children or children who face life-threatening illnesses in the comfort of their own home. This enables the child’s family to receive additional support whilst the family is given the opportunity to stay together.

Staff from Whitehead Monckton regularly take part in events in order to raise much needed funds for their chosen charity of the year. Another group of staff from the law firm are taking part in the Castle Ride 100 on May 19th, a charity bike ride that is one of the leading bike rides across the South East.

Clients, families and friends are all being approached to sponsor the teams.

"Our teams are really looking forward to the challenges despite the aching legs and training schedules - and hoping for kind weather conditions" said Daniel Bennett, Family law partner and head of CSR.

Whitehead Monckton are one of the leading law firms in Kent and have recently opened up a brand new office in Canterbury. The law firm already had two offices located in Maidstone and Tenterden where they provide legal services for individual and business clients.
