The Online News Association's annual conference took place in Chicago last week and had Twitter singing with developments, trends and salient issues in the world of digital journalism.

If, like some of us, you felt yourself turning green at the thought of missing out on all the new ideas and advice then there are a number of places to go to catch up. And even if you've never heard of the conference it's worth having a look to keep updated on important issues in the industry.

The official conference news team of students penned over 60 articles for the site, NPR's Melody Kramer wrote up a list of tools and ideas from the conference for the the public broadcaster's social media desk blog, while on SlideShare and Storify you can look through conference presentations and curated Twitter collections around different sessions.

So that's more than enough to get started with. But if there are other reports or opinion pieces from the conference that are worth reading feel free to add them in the comments below.
