The UK Association of Online Publishers (AOP) announced today that it's to hand out prizes in four new categories during its annual awards later on this year.
AOP says it intends to reflect board industry change by calling for entries for new four awards: use of video, best podcast, digital creativity and online community.
The awards will be presented at a black tie dinner following the AOP conference in October.
Winners at last year's event included the Associated Northcliffe Digital team which won the AOP award for consumer online publisher of the year. TopGear.com, published by BBC Worldwide, scooped the award for consumer website 2006.
The award for best online publisher and editorial team for business went to E-Consultancy.
