The BBC is moving its commissioning process to the internet for a faster, more efficient service.

BBC Vision will run the system for programme proposals, which will include the submission of documentaries, current affairs and multimedia packages, online at bbc.co.uk/commissioning .

Jana Bennett, director of BBC Vision, said: "Vision moves fully into multi-platform commissioning this April and capturing every proposal on this website means that we can spend more time developing the very best creative ideas."
