My editorial journey is fuelled by a curiosity for new tools and emerging trends, keeping our coverage sharp and relevant for today’s newsrooms. From managing the team to crafting in-depth features and leading the Newsrewired conference, I’m committed to making JournalismUK a trusted resource for digital publishing and innovation, helping journalists stay ahead in a fast-changing landscape.

In May 2025, after seven years of working as editor, I took on a new chapter as managing director, acquiring the Journalism.co.uk brand and leading the rebranding and modernising effort, both externally and internally. I'm a Cardiff University (JOMEC) and University of Lancashire (JILeaders) alumna.

I’ve spent seven years reporting for Journalism.co.uk, diving into everything from breaking news to in-depth features and newsletters, all shaped by a user-first approach.

As the solo host and producer of the Journalism.co.uk podcast, I get to chat with some of the most interesting voices in the industry. I also co-organise our Newsrewired conference, where I’m hands-on with everything from booking guests and sponsors to shaping the agenda and moderating sessions.

I keep a close eye on media trends and have built a strong network across the news sector. Along the way, I’ve been invited to judge industry awards, collaborate on projects, moderate events, and share insights as a guest speaker and writer.

I’m NCTJ qualified, with a multimedia journalism degree from Bournemouth University. Always up for a good story, a new connection, or a fresh perspective on where journalism is headed.

Contact me for editorial, community and Newsrewired enquiries.
