I’m endlessly curious about how journalism is changing, and I love digging into new tools, trends, and ideas that can make a difference in newsrooms.

Most days, you’ll find me juggling everything from running our small (but mighty) team, to writing features, to pulling together our Newsrewired conference. My goal is to make JournalismUK the best platform for no-BS industry knowledge, practical resources, and inspiration.

In May 2025, after seven years as editor, I took the leap and bought the brand because I believe in independent media and wanted to keep this community thriving. Since then, I’ve been busy modernising everything, inside and out.

I’m a proud Cardiff JOMEC and UCLan JILeaders alumna. If you want to talk sales, sponsorship, Newsrewired, editorial ideas, or just learn more about the future of journalism, drop me a line.

I’ve spent seven years reporting for Journalism.co.uk, diving into everything from breaking news to in-depth features and newsletters, all shaped by a user-first approach.

As the solo host and producer of the Journalism.co.uk podcast, I get to chat with some of the most interesting voices in the industry. I also co-organise our Newsrewired conference, where I’m hands-on with everything from booking guests and sponsors to shaping the agenda and moderating sessions.

I keep a close eye on media trends and have built a strong network across the news sector. Along the way, I’ve been invited to judge industry awards, collaborate on projects, moderate events, and share insights as a guest speaker and writer.

I’m NCTJ qualified, with a multimedia journalism degree from Bournemouth University. Always up for a good story, a new connection, or a fresh perspective on where journalism is headed.
