The next meeting of the Digital Editors' Network (DEN) is to focus on social media and user-generated content.
Scheduled for May 12 at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) in Preston, speakers include Hitwise research director, Robin Goad, who will present analysis of the UK's social media and UGC landscape.
Goad is joined by Patrick Altoft, managing director of digital agency Branded3, who will cover search engine optimisation and social media marketing; and Nick Turner, head of digital content for CN Group, who will discuss the publisher's hyperlocal news project .
The DEN event will be followed by the 12th Journalism Leaders Forum , speakers for which are yet to be confirmed.
