About me
I’m an award winning journalist who has worked in tech for over a decade as editor and journalist. I've worked in broader men's consumer media even longer. I also work with corporate clients writing and planning press releases, website copy, product design and launches. I'm also writing about mental health, meditation, yoga and wellness from a male perspective.

On a daily basis I’m required to create news and feature ideas, source contacts – from my already large base – and to write copy on tight deadlines. In between planning stories, editing submissions, writing news, battling the sea of PR emails and calls, and making short work of corporate admin, I like to get the chance to write review pieces too.

I have reviewed and written news on smartphones, cars, sports tech, wearables, celebrities, film, tablets, laptops, sport, music, electric bikes, cars, trainers, apps, cameras, televisions, home cinemas, and plenty more both for magazine and online. I have done so in long form, over pages, and in a concise manner for online articles.

I have also written news and hands-on reviews in very stressful situations to tight deadlines (within the hour often) – including Apple and Samsung launches. Plus the madness of launches at CES, IFA and MWC have become almost normal to me now.

InDesign, Photoshop, a CMS, Silverpop, and myriad Google tools are all well used weapons in my battle to sculpt features.

I’m also experienced at working shifts (read: long hours) to a tight deadline, which I never miss.
