Other information: I have been a journalist for 14 years, starting in regional publishing where I worked as a senior news reporter and co-arts editor at the Kentish Times for four years before moving into B2B publishing.

My last permanent role was as editor of BigHospitality where I created a content strategy for the website and managed a team of two other journalists while also writing news and features, creating photo galleries, videos and podcasts as well as managing its social media accounts and compiling a daily newsletter.

I currently work as interviews editor for Hospitality & Catering News and write regularly for The Morning Advertiser and Scotchwhisky.com.

I am highly organised and efficient and pay great attention to detail. I am able to turn copy around quickly and am always mindful of the target reader to ensure that content has the desired impact.

I am comfortable interviewing people from all walks of life - from independent business owners and chefs to celebrities and CEOs and writing about a breadth of subjects, although my experience has been in hospitality, food and drink for the last eight years.
