Hearst digital has appointed Sara Stephenson as publisher of handbag.com and allaboutyou.com .

Stephenson has held a range of publishing, advertising and commercial roles for Hearst digital's parent company NatMag during her 14 years with the publisher.

She moves into her latest position from Company magazine, where she was publisher.

"The appointment of Sara, with her offline publishing experience coupled with the unique demands of online publishing, will combine to create a powerful and compelling contribution to the ambitious plans we have projected for handbag.com and allaboutyou.com," said Alex Ballantyne, managing director of Hearst Digital, in a press release.
