IPC media's new online homes portal, housetohome.co.uk , has made five senior appointments - including the recruitment of an editor.

David Gadd, a senior manager at AOL UK, has been brought in to lead three new content managers.

Charlotte Duckworth, currently at handbag.com; Jessamy Hawley, who joins from GadgetCandy.co.uk; and Ben Richards, currently Ideal Home web and features editor will all join the property website.

In addition, Nicole Story will leave her current post as online commercial manager at Ideal Home and join as associate publisher, reporting to publishing director Yvonne Ramsden.

All appointees will take up their posts in early July.
