Daily news bulletins from Al Jazeera English (AJE) will appear on the Independent's website , as part of a new video partnership between the two media groups.
The videos produced in AJE's Doha, London and Washington bureaux will be two to three minutes in length and regularly updated, a release on Independent.co.uk said.
Speaking in the release, Bill Swanson, managing director of Independent.co.uk said the arrangement, which began yesterday, was 'another key partnership for the ongoing evolution of the website'.
"Making our content accessible to international audiences through different distribution channels has been a priority for Al Jazeera and this agreement with the Independent extends that mission," Tony Burman, managing director of AJE, added in the statement.
