This is an exciting opportunity to work with an incredibly dedicated team and use your editorial, research and organisational skills to save our planet.
At WWF, we’re putting our supporters at the centre of all we do, to encourage them to act with us, because everything we do relies on their incredible generosity. Keeping our supporters engaged in the many strands of our work is fundamental to retaining their support. That’s why our loyalty communications are so important. Which is where your skills as Editorial Executive are needed.
As Editorial Executive you assist our loyalty comms and supporter engagement editors in delivering large volumes of magazines, updates and online loyalty content. You will act as editorial assistant and support all stages of production for our membership magazine and various other publications. This will include finding images, proofing, fact checking and giving feedback on copy and design stages. You will also work on the membership magazine hub, create emails and update YouTube content. This role will involve collaborating with colleagues and field offices across the world, as well as the agencies that fulfil the publications, to help plan, source and create the strongest content possible. You will support the senior editor with more ad hoc projects too.
For this role, you must have proven experience of copywriting, subediting and proofreading. A graduate, you will be a proficient user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint too. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, you will have excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. Effective at managing projects, you will be results driven, keen to share ideas and a fabulous researcher.
Knowledge of social media engagement, editing videos and managing YouTube content as well as experience of editing fundraising materials would be highly valued.
If you are excited by the opportunity to build a movement for nature, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link, complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up-to-date CV with the Supporting Statement highlighting what makes you a good fit for us.
Every role at WWF is open to applications from all sections of society. We believe in the potential of everyone regardless of sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic origin, different physical ability, family structure, socio-economics, age, nationality or citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other aspect that makes you, well you. Here at WWF, we are committed to conscious inclusion that helps cultivate an ethos of belonging, connection and shared purpose. We believe the more diverse we are the better we become; this brings us together and empowers us to develop, engage and inspire – and critically to help build a future where people can live in harmony with nature.
Our policies and benefits reflect the importance of people being able to have a good work-life balance and being able to bring their ‘full self’ to work.
Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We are looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.
