Conde Nast International has named Ingrid Sischy and Sandra Brandt as international editors for the German and Russian Vogue magazines.

The appointments are in addition to their current roles as international editors for the Italian and Spanish Vanity Fair magazines, a press release from the publisher said.

Sischy and Brandt began working for the Italian and Spanish titles in September 2008. They will work closely with the editors of all four publications.

Prior to joining Conde Nast, Brandt was CEO, president and publisher of Brandt Publications, which published Interview, Art in America and The Magazine Antiques.

Sischy was editor of Interview and was previously a contributing editor of American Vanity Fair in 1997.

"Ingrid and Sandy are a unique journalistic team, full of ideas and with strong ties to the worlds of Hollywood, fashion and the arts," said Jonathan Newhouse, chairman of Conde Nast International, in the release.

"They command enormous respect in the industry. It is great that they can contribute their considerable talents to our magazines in these four markets."
