Bond will be covering health stories in the Swindon area and working closely with the Great Western Hospital.
She joins the Advertiser from another Newsquest published title, the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald, where she was a reporter.
After graduating from Southampton Solent University in journalism, Bond undertook a series of work placements at the Gazette and Herald, Western Daily Press, Bath Chronicle and Media Clash before joining the Gazette and Herald in a permanent role.
