Purser steps up from her position as editorial assistant at Star and OK! Hot Stars magazines.
Prior to this she completed her degree in English with creative writing followed by an NCTJ accredited post-graduate course in magazine journalism, she told journalism.co.uk.
In her new role she will be responsible for reviewing films, books and DVDs each week and writing regular features and news for the magazines.
