London based celebrity and entertainment media directory, providing advance diary and celebrity contacts and biographical information to clients including The BBC, Condé Nast, ITN, CNN, The Daily Mail, Grazia, The Telegraph, ITV, Net-A-Porter, Bauer Media, PUMA, Sony Music UK, Disney… and many other media organisations, PR consultancies and brands, is recruiting for a celebrity researcher to join our editorial team.

We have an immediate opening for a Celebrity Researcher with some experience in an office environment, proven research skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a keen eye for detail to work on our celebrity contacts team.

This position is data focused, and you will be responsible for sourcing and updating celebrity contacts dealing directly with agents, managers and stylists, using the internet, telephone, social media and email to research, and working to targets and deadlines. Sourcing and writing industry news (new celebrity endorsements, launches, fashion campaigns, agency moves etc), and sourcing and updating photos, social media data, and celebrity biog information is a major aspect of the role.

The company is fast-paced and deadline driven and candidates must possess genuine enthusiasm for the entertainment and arts sectors; a keen eye for detail and thirst for knowledge; a confident telephone manner; research experience and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.

Familiarity with social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc), enthusiasm, the ability to write lively copy for an industry audience, and a keen interest in celebrity culture and the arts (music, TV, fashion, film, theatre etc) are essential in this role.
