Anglo American in London is looking for a dynamic Content Curator. As a Content Curator you will be writing, planning and producing content across all our channels and assisting with delivering the Technical & Sustainability strategy. Operating as a multimedia journalist and brand advocate, the Content Curator should have an adaptable editorial style; able to produce unique and engaging content with an eye for detail and a flair for turning data and insights into great written and audio-visual content, to tight deadlines.

The Content Curator should also have a firm grasp of how multimedia content fits into the marketing mix. You must have exceptional editorial governance and project management skills, understand complex technical information and importantly, be able to influence key stakeholders for the right purpose-led outcome.

The purpose of the Content Curator role is to support the Communications Team by owning editorial governance framework that through its delivery causes people to know, think, feel and do what Anglo American requires to secure its sustainable future.

Work Processes:

  • Collaborating with members of the relevant Business Unit and Group Communications Teams to ensure the T&S Communication strategy is aligned and supported for delivery.
  • Engaging with the business to discover content leads to be used to support the Experience Architect strategy.
  • Developing content from lead generation through to end product and delivering to the business.
  • Take ownership of editorial governance and ensure compliance across the group:
  • Editorial calendar
  • Editorial process
  • Tools & templates
  • Content management
  • Channel management
  • Package and programme production.
  • Manage the T&S narrative in its range of forms (text, PPT, videos).
  • Manage creative agencies to ensure timely and high-quality content production, securing engagement of Bus in filming and securing permits, accordingly.
  • Provide event management support for colleague conferences and external exhibits.
  • Partner with Head of Communications, T&S, to ensure development of relevant and high impact content for external investor, industry and media engagements.
  • Partner with Head of Communications in identifying and implementing innovative engagement channels, eg: iTabs.
  • Provide coordination of media and presenter training.
