We are looking for a bright, creative and innovative deputy editor to join the Which? Money team in Central London.

What will you do?

Brief, commission and edit features for Which? Money magazine. You will be as comfortable editing one of our award-winning investigations as you are a straightforward advice feature. You will regularly generate new ideas and be able to develop pitches from in-house and freelance writers to publish content that our readers love.

Pitch in and produce content, too, by writing features and news stories as required in print and online.

Take responsibility for designated sections of Which? Money magazine, and associated digital outputs, ensuring they achieve commercial targets for acquiring, retaining and satisfying customers.

Help us achieve multi-channel content wins. Your experience will allow you to identify innovative ways to publish our content digitally and reach new audiences, while your enthusiasm will let you inspire our team of writers.

Collaborate with the money helpline to identify emerging financial issues that can be

addressed though magazine and digital content.

Support the editor in the day-to-day running of print and digital content outputs. Organisation and attention to detail will be key in making sure the production cycle runs smoothly.

To do this role

Required

  • Similar experience, ideally within personal finance
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience of commissioning in-house and freelance writers
  • Knowledge of InDesign and CMS systems
  • Proven track record of digital success and producing multi-channel content
  • Strong grasp of SEO principles and social channels
  • Experience of commissioning or writing impactful investigations
