Deputy Money Mail editor
The Daily Mail is recruiting a Deputy Editor for its award-winning personal finance section Money Mail.
Applicants should have a background in breaking hard-hitting personal finance news stories, preferably at a national level, and must show a flair for both investigative journalism and producing in-depth features packed with colour.
You must be highly-motivated, with a sharp news sense and a head for figures. Editing experience is also vital as you will be in charge of running the section in the editor’s absence. In addition to commissioning articles and editing copy, this involves writing headlines and working with the design department to lay out pages.
As well as writing for Money Mail, your role will involve contributing to the paper’s daily news coverage. You will be expected to come up with front-page splashes on a regular basis and talk to our readers to bring their stories to life.
