The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is the professional membership body for pharmacists and pharmacy in Great Britain. The Pharmaceutical Journal Publications, a division owned by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and a leading publisher in pharmacy practice and science, is looking to appoint a Deputy News Editor.

We are looking for someone to support The Pharmaceutical Journal’s News & Views Editor as required. Responsibilities include assisting in the news gathering process, commissioning and editing news plus preparing news and analysis for publication. The Deputy News Editor will also take responsibility for writing the most challenging news and analysis content, other duties permitting.

The successful applicant will be a Journalist with at least two years’ experience of breaking exclusive news stories, ideally in the health/scientific sector, and will also some experience of investigative journalism and an interest in health policy.
