DVV Media UK’s Road business is seeking a deputy news editor to work across our premier haulage and logistics titles covering this fast paced sector. A perfect next step for an experienced reporter, you will be delivering breaking news, analysis, investigations and features about the people who keep the wheels turning.
You will be part of the content team writing for online, print, and social media and will have an opportunity to work on our video series 'A Week in Trucks'.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong writing and editing skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Assist in managing the content team to ensure daily output for the websites and high quality copy for our print editions
- Deputise for the group news editor as required
- An ability to develop off-diary stories and provide exclusive content

This is a full-time role based in Sutton, Surrey with an annual salary of £33,942. Benefits include competitive pension, 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and generous maternity, paternity and sickness benefits, as well as family friendly working practices.
Some travel will be required, predominately in the UK.
