The Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News are looking for a talented, driven and self-motivated digital reporter to join the Norwich web team.

More than 250,000 people visit our websites each day clocking up more than 20 million page views each month. Our audiences are hungry for news and information in real time and it’s our job to make sure our journalists’ top-quality journalism reaches as many local people as possible.

The ideal candidate will be able to write sharp and accurate copy under pressure and will have experience managing social channels and building online audiences.

They will be confident driving engagement and comfortable with SEO, analytics and interpreting data.

We would welcome applications from junior journalists looking to specialise in digital or those with experience building an online audience.

The post is based in Norwich.

We offer five weeks annual leave, contributory pension and life assurance scheme (after qualifying period) and all the benefits of working for a large media organisation. The starting salary for this role is £18,000 with an opportunity to progress onto our digital development plan.
