Based out of our Edinburgh office, this is a fantastic opportunity to join Scotland’s fastest growing business technology media company. The role would suit an ambitious journalist with a passion for emerging technology and the desire to join a young, motivated team with massive potential.

Key Duties

  • Manage the editorial team and oversee the output across the website
  • Research and write regular news, interviews and feature articles
  • Engage with relevant stakeholders and help expand our network
  • Help mentor and develop the editorial team
  • Assist with editorial curation of external contributor content
  • Manage the content calendar and editorial plan
  • Align research and collaborate with the conference team
  • Optimise the performance of the site through SEO
  • Manage social media output & grow following

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in online or print journalism
  • Good understanding of key technology and business trends
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Understanding of Social Media platforms and tools
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm, positivity and drive
