We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our editorial team based in Milton Keynes, specialising on B2B magazines, websites and events for the UK food industry.
You should have excellent organisational skills, work well with others and be a very good communicator. A high standard of written English is essential and you should be computer literate, confident using the telephone and have excellent attention to detail. A journalism qualification or relevant experience is preferred, although not essential if you can demonstrate you have what it takes.
This position would suit someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys variety – approaching updating databases with the same enthusiasm as attending a sparkling awards event. No day is the same. You could be writing news stories for our websites, interviewing a top food executive, producing a feature about a manufacturer or an independent retailer, subbing pages, researching, representing the company at an event, updating directory listings or chasing people over the phone. It's a real mixed bag and you'll never be stuck for something to do!

The company also organises exciting food awards initiatives, a national industry exhibition and the annual UK Sausage Week. Assistance with editorial projects surrounding these events is an important part of the role. Some limited assistance with the company’s other publishing portfolio – for the group and school travel sectors – may also be required. To see more go to www.yandellmedia.com

Applicants who do not include a covering letter will not be considered.
